Today I sold my Tamron 70-300 lens, so I finally have some money again ^_^. I didn't need it anymore because when I bought my Canon 550D there was a Canon 75-300 lens included, and it was a bit better so I decided to sell my other lens. I'm also trying to sell my old Duplo haha, I don't know if it's also called Duplo in English, but it's a sort of Lego for really tiny children. I had quite a lot so I don't know what to ask for it haha. I have no idea why I'm writing this, I'm a bit bored I guess.

Still haven't bought House M.D. season 6 and 7, so I can't watch any further unfortunately. But when I'm having a job I will buy them I guess. I've also started watching The Game Of Thrones season 2, but I'm watching it with my boyfriend, so I can't finish watching them immediately haha, really loving this series.

Sunday I'm going to my grandparents for a 'Sinterklaas' day, I have no idea how it's called in English and if it's known for other people but it resembles Christmas a bit, and officially it's just for small children, but my grandmother just loves giving presents I guess... Anyway, I don't really mind haha.

Last weekend my boyfriend took me out for dinner, it was really nice, had an amazing weekend ;D.
Sorry for this useless ramblings, here is a picture:

Short reviews

So as you might have noticed, I'm a big fan of 'bad' horror movies. Like useless slaughter movies that don't ever have a good story. I just like it. But of course, there are many movies that are just too bad to watch. Bad acting, bad story and so on. I watch a lot of these bad horror movies, and some are just really funny to watch, like Wrong Turn or The Hills Have Eyes or anything. But some.. well, they are just not worth waisting your time on. I decided that whenever I watch one of these horror movies that I liked or didn't liked, that I'll write a short review about it. I'm apologizing in advance for my english, because that isn't too well.

Don't let him in (2011)
IMDB rate: 3,6
Genre: Slasher

Well, it isn't often that I don't finish watching a movie, until I saw this movie. I bought a box once with the movies Train, Make Out With Violence and this one in it, I already did a review of Train, and Make Out With Violence is the next review, but this movie.. makes me speechless. First, the characters where terrible. Way too predictable, and I just couldn't connect with either of them because of the bad acting. They just looked like it was all very obvious and not important at all. Also, they didn't seem very smart since all the stupid actions they made. When something bad happened it was just not possible to care, because there was no connection. I find that every movie needs some connection with at least one character, or else there isn't any tension. So that's why I didn't finish watching it, it was just not interesting.

My personal rate: 2/10

Make Out With Violence (2008)
IMDB rate: 5,2
Genre: Zombie

This is the last one of the horror box I mentioned before. A bit of a strange movie, I found it a sort of Indie movie. Not really horror, but it kept you curious of what will happen eventually. It was definitely not what I expected, but it wasn't bad either. The movie is kinda slow, but besides that, it wasn't bad. The editing and filming was really nice done, and the story wasn't really bad, but not too special either. The zombie girl seems to be a sort of backbone in this movie, although her presence is not really clear. Make Out With Violence is about two brothers who need to deal with the death of their friend Wendy, her body was never found but one of the brothers does find it, and she appears to be a zombie. She is tied to a tree (by who?) and isn't a really typical human-meat eating zombie. The brother decides to take her home and keep her in a bathtub while the brothers try to resemble a life for her. Although this is more of a story behind, because the main story seems to be going about friendship, family, love and death. The acting was also quite good, the love for the zombie by one of the brothers is slightly terrifying, and disturbing, but also a bit.. cute? The movie wasn't that bad, but don't expect it to be a horror movie, because it's more a drama. (Although it's stated as a horror). And, don't expect any making out or violence, because there won't be any ;).

My personal rate: 5,5/10

The Strangers (2008)
IMDB rate: 6,1
Genre: Survival

I've already seen this movie when it just came out, and I thought it was a nice movie but not scary. Now, a few years later I had to change my opinion, because it was definitely more scary than before. I really liked these horror movies, because they're not full of slaughter and gore, this was just a bit of a mindfuck movie in my opinion. It seems a bit boring, because this story also starts with a young couple, an isolated vacation house and people with masks, but this movie seems to stand out a bit of all the other ones in my opinion. For a start, this movie isn't full of slaughter and shocking images that seems to be so 'hot' the last couple of years. The 'strangers' are three people with masks that are terrorizing the young couple, by knocking on doors and windows, stealing cellphones or just staring from a corner of a room. The only thing I noticed is the resemblance between this movie and the French movie 'Ils' which is also a great movie btw. But that might be just what I thought ;). The tension in this movie is great, the acting is also amazing, Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman where totally convincing as a couple, and you would really connect with them. Definitely recommend this one, if you have not seen it yet!

My personal rate: 7,5/10

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

The Dark Knight Rises
IMDB rate: 8,8
Genre: Action

So I've FINALLY seen The Dark Knight Rises! It was so amazing. I'm a big fan of the Batman trilogy of Christopher Nolan and this last part just was exactly right as an ending. Of course it was a bit of an open ending, but I truly hope they won't continue further with the series because I'm afraid they mess it up. I was a bit late with seeing this one, because when it was at the theaters I didn't have money to go see it, and when I finally did had enough money, the movie didn't play anymore. So I had to wait until it came out and I was astonished of how amazing it was.

After I saw The Dark Knight I was absolutely sure they couldn't do it any better and that this part would be like way better than The Dark Knight Rises but eventually I just can't tell which part I like the most. I thought Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker, and I've always loved him as an actor (R.I.P.) he is like the main reason for me why I like The Dark Knight so much, but after The Dark Knight Rises I'm just not sure anymore which I liked better. Batman Begins is also an amazing movie but I liked it less than The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

The only thing I did not like about The Dark Knight Rises was Bane's voice. It was a complete mismatch in my eyes, because he was like really big and strong and the voice was just.. not. If you know what I mean ;). Also, the sound mixing seemed very bad, but I'll have to admit that I saw a downloaded version, so I can't tell for sure if it was the download or the actual sound mixing.

For anybody that likes superheroes or Batman or just a good action movie, go and see this. It was truly amazing! (And with superheroes I don't mean like The Avengers, which I liked, but they are nothing compared to this trilogy)

Personal rate: 9,5/10

Haven't updated in a while, because there wasn't much happening in my life. Still haven't found a job unfortunately, so I'm still sitting at home, gaming and stuff. I always play this game on the ps3 "Fat Princess" which is always a lot of fun, but for some strange reason it can't go online anymore. Only once in a hundred tries, it goes online, and every other attempts, nothing. Really pissed off because it was my favorite game and the only one I was able to play :(. It's quite strange because it connects to Playstation Network, and everything is working, until you're going to play online. It gives all kinds of errors like: 'Can't find any games', Wasn't able to connect or You are disconnected, while I know that there are games playing, and I have connection. Plus, at my boyfriends house, the games works normally. Quite annoying.

Anyway, I watched the first season of Game Of Thrones and I thought it was amazing! I'm also reading the book but it was a bit hard to read because of all the names. It became a bit confusing. So that's why I decided to watch the series before I finished the book. Really loved it, every end of an episode was so thrilling that I wanted to see the next episode right away. But now I finished watching the series, I will continue the book this week. Also downloaded season 2, but haven't started watching it yet.

But I really recommend this one, at first I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, because I'm not really into fights and Medieval and stuff, but the acting is great, and also a good story.

Also, my camera is officially broken, which really sucks, because it's autumn, and the colors of the forest are so beautiful. Wish I could photograph but I'll have to wait till it's getting fixed or until I bought a new one. And, my macbook battery is also not good,  so also need to fix that. Bad luck!

Some drawings

I wanted to post some of my drawings, I'm not really good but I really enjoy drawing so that's why I'm posting some. The quality is btw a bit bad, because my scanner sucks. I have a lot more drawings but these I liked the most, advice is always welcome ;).

My first portrait ever, Robert Patinsson

School assignment of Travis Barker, we had to design CD album covers of a genre, so I also had a drawing of Slash for rock and Bob Marley for reggae. This is btw not the finished version, I lost the finished version somewhere I guess.

Just finished this one, an attempt to draw the great Heath Ledger. Rest in peace.

And, my first serious painting ever, did not worked out that well ;).
